Absolutely perfect cottage. Very well equipped very much home from home. The hosts Rachel and Shaun kept us up to date with anything that was going on in Ludlow, recommended restaurants that past guests of the cottage had said were really good. Would not hesitate to recommend. We most definitely will be returning.

What a great cottage, sensitively renovated, spotlessly clean, comfortable and exceptionally well equipped. Communication with Rachel was very prompt and straightforward, and there was useful information about the property and the area in the house manual, along with instructions for all the appliances. The location was great, especially with the parking permit provided, with an easy walk to the town centre. We could have spent the whole week without using the car as plenty to see and do within walking distance. Loved buying food from the market, and on the days it wasn't on we could buy provisions from independent shops rather than the supermarket. There are some lovely pubs and restaurants in the town, as recommended in Rachel's visitor guide but a week wasn't long enough to try them all. The Ludlow Brewery was a great place to spend a rainy afternoon trying out the local beer! Some great local walks, and a bit further afield Carding Mill Valley & the Long Mynd was a rather strenuous walk with the most spectacular views. If you're considering a visit to Ludlow I would highly recommend booking Charlie's Cottage.

Charlie's Cottage is a delightful place in a lovely town surrounded by stunning Shropshire hills AONB. What more can you ask for! We absolutely loved our stay in this stylish, cute, historic cottage - the rooms were furnished to high standard, there are very comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped to cater for your culinary needs. It's only a short walk to the historic town, castle and many lovely restaurants as well as larger supermarkets and train station. What a location! I would give this cottage and accommodation provider more stars if they were available. Thank you for having us :-) Stana and Richy xx
