        its not the same as it has been in previous years, its so small and only had a few stalls, there isnt a grand tent in the castle grounds and theres no where near half the stalls there have been, in my opinion it was a massive let down and i dont think ill come back

        Great event for all ages. Lots to see and do, and is great at night. No idea if it will go ahead this year sadly. Park and ride would be my recommendation if you are driving in as it gets very very busy.

        Went to visit for the castle and stumbled into the Medieval Christmas Fayre, and it was excellent! Will definitely return to the next Fayre as the setup was fantastic. The store venders really created a lovely atmosphere, there were live performances going on all over the place with an extensive programme, and lots of lovely little stalls dotted around, such as the roasted chestnuts within the castle courtyard!
