I had not been to Stepping Stones for several years (since 2018) and tried to make an appointment. I was informed that I was no longer a NHS patient due to the lack of me making an appointment. I said that I was not told that I would loose being on the NHS. The lady informed it was my responsibility to make appointments and that I only could be helped if I became a private patient. As my husband already left this dentist as he was not happy about the quality of treatment, as well as my daughter who left 'stepping stones' for the same reason, it is now time for me to go elsewhere. I would not recommend Stepping stones.

You are always kept waiting for your appointment, have been a NHS paitent for many years the dentist is now going private, other dentist at practice are not taking on his patient's so go private or get lost!

Find staff rude and un helpful.. had our family appointments cancelled with no explanation nor 're booked... then when I call to re book I'm told I'd have to wait a year! Or see someone else in a rude manner.. from first impressions it's not good! Nor dose it put you at easy if your not keen on visiting to have dental treatments..

Just visited stepping stones dentist with my daughter for a routine check up,, my daughter came out of the treatment room in pieces ( crying her eyes out ) ,, be warned they have 2 star rating for a reason, this is why I am registered with a different dentist absolutely appalling....!!!!

I've been a patient here for many years and found the service exemplary. But now it's in the hands of "My dentist" I find it hard to believe it's the same practice. Emergency appointments take a month and when you actually do get treatment it's far from past experience. They only seem to be interested in cosmetic work and constantly remind you of this, both in the waiting room and surgery. No questions about previous or current medical conditions. No eye protection is provided and you you better close your eyes when having basic compound fillings from the reflected uv hardening light as neither nurse or dentist will warn you (I'm a welder and know from experience how damaging to the eyesight this can be.) I used to know the previous dentist Dr Bob and actually looked forward to seeing him as he had a wonderful encyclopedic knowledge of patients interests . This lot can hardly get your name right and I havnt seem the same person twice. I will be looking for another practice because I've lost faith in this one.
