The Snugg - Ludlow

Would definitely not recommend. Called in for coffee. An older woman and young man behind the counter. Very cold reception. No smiles or welcome. Two further customers with dogs came in which is fair enough, if the cafe welcomes dogs. What I take objection to is the fact that the woman was feeding dog treats to the dogs and letting them lick her hands and then went straight back to preparing and serving food and drinks without washing her hands. Also, as an earlier review mentions, there was a very unpleasant smell at the back end of the cafe.

Visited on 01/04/23 Was 4:15pm, as we walked in we were greeting with eye rolls, inappropriate language under their breathe to each other and pure rudeness! Online it says closes at 6 pm!!! Asked for a coffee, no machines on for one, also asked if it was possible for a milkshake, the young girl behind the counter sighed and said not really. To which our custom was taken elsewhere. Just purely rude!

Lovely, cosy cafe with friendly staff. Had coffee with a friend here - the atmosphere was comfortable, the drinks were nice, and the cafe was clean. Will pop in again, I'm sure!

We ordered the Dark Hot chocolate and a Cheese and Tuna toastie. Both Delicious. Im fussy about my hot chocolate... we had the dark, which was lovely and chocolaty without being bitter. 10/10 for a yummy hot choc on a cool winters day :)

Nice looking menu but only a toasted sandwich available. Was the worst toastie ever, coffee was meh. Gave 2 stars as we could take our dog in. Wont be going in again.
