The Old Vicarage Care Home

The home is a mixture of old cramped rooms , plus a new wing , with nicer rooms which my mother was in. There is a steep slope from the new wing upto the lounge area . The slope was to steep for her to use without assistance going up and to steep for her to safely descend. A male resident attacked another resident whilst I was there, both residents were demented,and fortunately the victim wasn't harmed but the staff tried to make the attacker apologise and the poor man didn't know where he was and what he had done. It was difficult to get through on the phone , possibly because a member of staff was curled up in a chair in the office, sound asleep when I was leaving. The food appeared to be of poor quality and very small portions.
