Pulled in on Sunday to have a look as someone had said it's a good place to stay...
Drove through and came to the end of the park where a small man in a boiler suit and winter hat was stood.
I put my window down and asked if I could pull in to turn around to which he said "No this is a private road you can reverse up and get out" to which I replied "is this the place that you can hire a place to stay".... He then replied why didn't you say that, you people really annoy me.... To which I replied "people like what?"
He then persisted in verbally abusing my partner with my children in the car and acted in a way that could only be explained as racist, he obviously saw a different culture and assumed he could call us "you people"
He then stood there and did what could only be described as a mock Indian war cry as we pulled away....... This was disgracful
At no stage did I react and simply put my window up and drove off as the example I set to my children is paramount
But atleast we now know that this is not the place to stay or enjoy trains if you are not from the area "put polity"

Warm, cosy and well placed for seeing the north Lincolnshire area, very quite at night and dog friendly.
With Louth just down the road and a great place for a day out, check the running days of you want to be there when the railway is running.
Another great stay in an area of the country we love.

Its a small site with 4 pitches. All the campers we have met have been friendly.
The sad ire owners Jenny and Wayne are everyone would like them to be. They ensure you are fully aware of the services etc if its your first visit. We have returned several times and it would have been more due to covid restrictions.
If you love trains its literally next door to the Lincolnshire Wolds Railways.
This place is a tiny piece of heaven.
