Arrived here earlier today and I have to say I'm very impressed. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our pitch. There's plenty of space between the touring pitches. The facilities are really good - nice toilet block which is spotlessly clean. Whilst we won't need to use it, I can see that the motorhome service point has everything you'd need. The little shop has essentials and some local goods. Restrooms: Spotless. Heated. Good layout.

I first stayed at Burrowhayes approximately 22 years ago. Back then I was impressed with how pretty the site was, the location, the cleanliness and how helpful the staff were. My friends and I kept returning, sometimes bunking off work to go as we loved it that much. Fast forward to the present day.....and I am pleased to say that absolutely nothing has changed. It is, and probably always will be, my favourite campsite. This year we stayed in one of the static caravans they have available. You have to be fast booking them as they go very quickly. I've been trying to get one for the past 5 years but I've always been a little disorganised and missed out. The caravans are lovely. They have everything you need and the bed is very comfortable. The riding from Burrowhayes is also fantastic as it's right on the edge of the woods/moors. They do now only accept experienced riders, but it this is you and you want to ride, it's certainly worth it. The horses are lovely and in great condition and the riding country exceptional. Restrooms: Spotlessly clean and plenty of showers and toilets.
