This is an amazing place to stay in the lovely village of Lowick! After being warmly welcomed by Neil we were shown to our suite named the Salvador Dali suite. Unfortunately there was a small problem with the toilet which Neil set to work on straight away. As it was going to take him a little while he told us he would move us to the Sherlock suite which worked out nicely for us as it had a large Jacuzzi! We enjoyed a few hours soak in the tub whilst enjoying a few drinks before heading out to the nearby white swan pub. In the morning we were served a delicious borders breakfast, prepared to perfection by Lynnie and served by Neil. Whilst waiting for your cooked breakfast you can help yourself to a continental breakfast to whet your appetite. This includes a wide selection of cereals, fresh fruit and juices. I had opted for a cafetiere of coffee with my breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at just how large it was. The coffee had excellent flavour too. It wasn't long before our borders breakfast arrived, I had opted for the full borders breakfast which contained the full works. Two fried eggs, link sausage, lorne sausage (a real favourite of mine), haggis, fried mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, a hash brown and toast. My wife went for a lighter option with scrambled egg which was very nicely peppered. As we were on our anniversary weekend this was the perfect place for us to stay, wonderful!
