Originally booked to stay 5 nights however we left after 2. Issues we encountered upon arrival were not addressed. The manager/owner, Joan didnt seem to care and acted in an entitled and aggressive manner, this is not something I will ever allow around my family. Avoid this place and attitudes like this at all costs.

Safely back home after another wonderful week in our favourite holiday cottage. Whatever the weather, this is a wonderful place to stay - always a very warm welcome from Joan, lovely cakes and scones waiting for us in the kitchen and a pint of milk in the fridge too! The cottages (we have stayed in all three over the years!) are all beautifully presented, comfortable, really clean and well-maintained - a perfect home from home. Thank you Joan and the team for providing such a haven.

What a fabulous part of the Lake District to stay for a relaxing break, made even more special by the warmth of the welcome from the owner. The attention to detail, from home made cake and fresh flowers, to a wealth of local information ensures you get the most from your holiday. This welcome is extended to your canine friends too and the high standard of accommodation, together with the beautiful gardens, will make you want to return time and again .....

We have stayed in all of the cottages at Crummock Water Cottages over the years, multiple times. They are all immaculate, extremely well equipped, warm and comfortable. The welcome is amazing and nothing is ever too much trouble for Joan the owner. Add to that the fact that this place has THE best view in the country and you really wouldnt want to stay anywhere else. Such a beautiful, peaceful place.
