Lovely area to visit, though it can get a little muddy. My main point of visiting was to photograph Holme Force waterfall. It has 3 tiers, so plenty of opportunities to capture various viewpoints of these falls. There are a few fallen trees that makes the waterfall a little cluttered, but still worth the early start to get up here before the crowds. Managed to spot a Red Squirrel, but too far away to get a shot off. Parking: Get here earlier enough, you can park for free in this small car park.

Went for a walk to find the waterfall but the route was closed due to forestry activity. The detour we took was quite long!

Hike to get to the waterful is a bit challenging but worth it. Also lovely walk around the lake. Look out for the bothy and goblin tree.
