Having struggled with gear changes and crunching on my 2000 reg fiat ducato 2.8tdi I contacted NG and spoke with Jay who I found to be very friendly and extremely knowledgeable . Excellent knowledge and skills not easily found , fantastic repair to my Fiat Ducato camper gearbox , drives like a new gearbox , money well spent . Also excellent mechanical engineering as he carried out further work to my engine. Very pleased with all aspects of the repairs , would definitely use again . Service: Transmission

Just had the gearbox rebuilt on my 21 year old motorhome which is a Fiat Ducato based vehicle. The synchromesh was virtually non existant on 3rd and 5th gears and it had started jumping out of 4th gear so I contacted national gearboxes at Lowestoft in Suffolk and spoke to a very helpfull man by the name of Jay. He explained what he could do to cure the problem so I took him the gearbox which he has rebuilt and it feels as good as new also he gave advise on how to make a small modification to the vehicle to stop water getting into the gearbox.
