Nigel Lake Swimming Pools

We would recommend Nigel Lake to anyone who has a pool in need of renovation. We inherited our pool when we moved to Norfolk, and it was in a poor state of repair. Following on from Covid, we contacted a number of companies, of which Nigel was the only one to answer. From the first meeting, Nigel explained everything and came up with some great ways of rejuvenating our pool, from a new coloured liner to having steps built into the pool for new ease of access (meaning we could lose the plastic and metal ladder). The work Nigel has done has been outstanding. The aftercare has been exemplary; lots of help with how to maintain the upkeep and advice going forwards. I'm writing this review on behalf of my elderly parents who used Nigel's services and wanted others to know how impressed they are. My parents needed a new liner to be fitted in their garden pool due to the previous one being the best part of 30 years old, and for it to be turned into a heated pool, finally, no more cold bits! On calling Nigel, he was friendly and polite to my Dad and said he'd be round at a certain day and time and sure enough he was there spot on time. My parents found Nigel to be really informative and helpful with their enquiry and needs, Nigel suggested ideas that my parents hadn't thought of and perhaps weren't aware of, all in a non-pushy way, this was excellent. Once work was agreed, Nigel would call my parents to let them know again what day and time he'd be round, if the weather was going to be inclement he'd call and let them know another day and time would be more appropriate for the work needing doing. My parents were never left feeling that they weren't going to hear from Nigel, he was spot on keeping them informed. The work carried out was done efficiently, very clean and tidy, and done to a very high professional standard, my parents would certainly recommend Nigel, and seeing the quality of his work and how well he looked after my parents, I'd have no hesitation in recommending Nigel either. I know my parents will continue to use Nigel for many years to come. Thanks again!

After struggling to get a quote from 2 other pool companies in Norwich I contacted Nigel who was quick to reply, visit and quote. He and his team have done an amazing job fitting a new liner and refitting our coping slabs. Excellent communication throughout and great price

Nigel Lake is an absolutely first rate pool engineer and maintenance man. He has looked after our pool in Wroxham for the past four or five years and it has never looked better. Nigel was recommended to us by our previous pool man when he retired and we can see why he came so highly recommended. He always goes out of his way to make sure that everything is running perfectly and drew up a comprehensive instruction manual bespoke to our pool system so that we always have clear guidance on day to day running of the system. He is highly intelligent as well as being exceptionally practical and we have always looked forward to and enjoyed his visits. Quite simply the best pool man in East Anglia!
