My daughter started nursery at this school in September 2015. We were particularly impressed with the community feel of the school and the emphasis on wellbeing and the inclusion of regular yoga and mindfulness sessions. I was approached to put myself forward for Parent Governor the following year, I was elected and currently still continue the role. My daughter is currently in Year 3 and throughout her schooling we have found that she has grown in confidence and due to the quality of teaching she had received has also consistently met or exceeded expectations. She has always lacked in confidence when it comes to Physical Education but the Sports Coach at Phoenix St Peter has supported her and she has begun to participate in well being sessions and school games. Due to Phoenix St Peter being a small school, there is a prevalent family and community feel and all of the Teachers know most of the children well.

This is a little school which focuses on wellbeing of the children as well as education. My son will be starting year 3 and daughter will be in reception from September. Over the few years we are part of this school community we havent had any major issues and whatever there was it has been resolved quite promptly. But for me as a parent is the most important that my child is happy, goes to school with the smile on his face and does good with his education. There is plenty of clubs for children of different ages to choose from which are after school but there is also breakfast club handy for those parents who need to start their day early. (Obviously this is now changed due to COVID-19 but hopefully all of this will be able to resume soon.) In these unprecedented times for everyone the school is trying their best to accommodate the families as best as they can. Which again we as working parents appreciate that with the start of the new school year and complicated drop offs and pick ups we wont have to do 4 trips a day. We are all looking forward to September when we can hopefully resume sort of normal and be a part of this school again.

my son started this school in reception in 2016. We both felt accepted and included, all the staff quickly knew the children as it is a small school with a family community feel. yoga and mindfulness has been included in the weekly running of lessons which i feel has benefited my son immensely. I have been involved in school fundraising over the last few years, i'ts amazing what has been achieved at the school in these few years due to fundraising events such as new library and outdoor equipment. my son is now in going into year 4 in September and he can not wait to get back into the classroom with his teachers and friends after this lock down period we have been dealt with, the home schooling work provided has been good and communication has been brilliant throughout this period also. My son has struggled with a few things in the past with his education, this has always been handled well and communication with us has been great . overall my son has grown in confidence and strides to achieve well due to the tremendous teaching at phoenix. He loves joining in with the amazing sports competitions throughout the year and his overall attitude to learning and education is always growing.
