I had my first ever photo shoot with Andrew and it was definitely an experience not to be forgotten. The whole atmosphere was professional and friendly. The photos were really good and Andrew is extremely easy to get on with. I had a great time :)

On 29 January Andrew McMeekin gave a presentation at the Lowestoft Photographic Club which everyone enjoyed so much we immediately asked him back to talk to us again about photography. Andrew has a studio in Lowestoft where he specialises in portrait and fashion photography, he also travels internationally on assignments across the world. During the evening Andrew told us how he started in photography and developed his skills through self-teaching, training and experience. Andrew showed us award winning images both in print and projected, which were clear evidence of his mastery of people photography. His interaction with his audience was very relaxed, questions were answered with Andrew quite willing to share his knowledge and understanding of the finer points of subject lighting, model directing, image improvement, project planning etc. We all gained much from the evening which will help us be better photographers.
