Andy has done a fantastic job setting up my guitars, the difference in sound and playability after his work is enormous. He has changed strings, lowered actions, smoothed frets, replaced controls and repaired fret boards to a very high standard. His expertise has been very valuable when I have known something wasn't right with the sound of a particular guitar, but didn't have a clue about what needing changing. Andy identified many things wrong and repaired them but also came up with a new selection of pickup that transformed the sound and then went on to offer me other alternatives to change the sound if I needed them. I enjoy picking up my guitars when Andy has finished working on them, as they sound so good, all in all highly recommended.

I took my Gibson along to the Guitar Doctor after finding that we have a service like this in Lowestoft. And I was more than happy with the result. The guitar hadn't been out of its case for at least two years as it was in no fit state to gig with and now its been given a new life for a very reasonable price.
