Lowestoft and District Mencap Society

Great place for the vulnerable in the community to get together and feel like they're really part of something. It's run on a voluntary basis, which makes it all the more impressive. They are constantly coming up with new ideas for activities.....they even performed on the stage of the Albert Hall in London!! Keep up the '5 star' work everyone!

I was on work experience with Setec at the Unity Centre and I have started a project called the adventures of Unity Mouse and I am volunteering with them and supported Mencap because I have severe learning difficulties.

Very good and friendly the staff go out of there way to make everyone happy and treat every one the same one of the best places my sister has belonging to well done everyone and let's hope you get all the support you deserve .

I suffer from a mental health problem and depression dropping into the centre all way chears me up people to talk to the dont judge you by your what you have to say and how you feel about a situation bit try and guide you along the way
