Rang the number given for Canning Rd Lowestoft as bin not collected and was put through to Suffolk Council where a recording says they do not handle waste/bin matters but get in touch with local council. Eh, yes? I'm paying a mobile phone charge here. Maybe you need a 70 year old to push their wheelie bin to Canning Rd? I have since been able to get in touch with the appropriate department who said that it would be collected within 5 days. I am still waiting 6 days on. I mentioned that my neighbour's bin had not been emptied also and was told that she would have to make a phone call for herself if she wanted it collected. I protested about the stupidity of it all and in the end was told a footnote would be added to include her as well. It's time for councils were made to pay recompense for their failures like the train companies have to and for them to have to acknowledge the numbers of complaints against them publicly. Maybe then they might smarten their ideas up especially if a sacking was in the offing.

My daughter has been waiting since reporting her bathroom floor in January. She's still not had any work done. My daughter is heavily pregnant and she has 7wks left but could have the baby early. She is also at risk of scar tissue damage after C,sections. I am absolutely disgusted at the way the council are neglecting to do the work. Nearly a year and nothing. They were supposed to come out last Monday but nothing. Today 28th November 22 they are again due to start the work and not a sign of anyone to do the job. This is appalling.
