I'd never really tried yoga before, it became more and more popular and didn't really get it. Then during lockdown I started zoom classes with Jen and can honestly say it was such a lifeline for my fitness and mental health. Each week I became stronger and following her directions was easy and her insights about the movements are so helpful. I challenged my body in ways I never thought of before and was always left feeling energised and centred. Will definitely be taking more classes in the future!

As a retiree who had never done yoga before I was very apprehensive when starting Jens class. I soon found however that I need not have worried as the classes allow me to take part at my own level and pace. Jen leads the class with clear direction and is sensitive when offering an adjustment to simplify or challenge depending on the individuals needs. I like doing the classes in my own home as I find it more economical for both time and money. This is so important in a busy life and there is the opportunity to chat to others at the end of a class if I want. Plus Jen gives individual guidance when she sees you need it. I feel so good after taking part and highly recommend Jens classes.

As a bit of an obsessive exerciser, I have done very small amounts of yoga over the last few years just using online videos. With lockdown this year I decided to try some In person classes at a local club. One of the classes was run by Jen and it was game changing. I soon made her class a Must Do and when lockdown 2.0 came and we moved online, I moved to doing classes with her via zoom 3 or 4 times a week. Jen is so gentle and calming in her guidance, just listening to her makes me feel like I want to practise yoga all the time!! She runs a range of classes from very challenging Power yoga to flexibility for Runners to Gentle Stretching and I love them all. In a couple of weeks I was able to hold poses I had only dreamt of doing and I love the challenge every week brings to learn more. I even enjoy the Savasana and the guided mindfulness at the end of each session which in the past I would have just skipped over! Compared to other instructors she is really interested and passionate about everyone in the class, finding out about their experience and goals and gently encouraging them to progress. In class, she makes hands on adjustments to push you a little further and even on zoom, she carefully watches to give tips on how to get a bit more out of every practise. In other classes, the instructor just goes through the routine themself with little interest or feedback to the participants. I genuinely feel like she knows and cares about everyone in her groups and helping them discover more every time we practise. In a year of rubbishness (2020!), I have found a love for yoga and that is thanks to Jen. I am incredibly grateful for finding her and having the privilege of practising with her and look forward to doing it more and more!

I have previously done a little yoga with other instructors before and never really had "the bug" to inspire me to keep practising yoga. I started practising with Jen during lockdown and I'm now converted! I attend a number of Jen's classes every week and find them so good for my physical and mental health. I have not previously found a yoga class where I come out feeling like I've actually done a workout - Jen's classes changed that. The moments of calm at the beginning and the savasanas at the end help to calm the mind and the yoga itself really gets your body working hard. Jen makes a conscious effort to find out what level you are at before you join the classes and all her classes are suited to all levels, so whether beginner or expert don't be afraid to join. She gives individual cues so it is like she is there beside you rather than virtually and her adjustments are really beneficial. Whatever your goal in yoga, whether to gain some calm in your life, increase your fitness or learn new yoga poses and connect with others, I would recommend these classes to anyone. Since starting classes with Jen I have become pregnant and I really didn't want to do specific pregnancy yoga as I found that it did not really work me out in the way I wanted. I have continued to practise with Jen and feel so supported and comfortable in my pregnancy knowing that the exercises that we are doing are completely safe. Jen offers great modifications for things that I am no longer able to do and she really takes the time to understand what works/is comfortable. I absolutely love practising yoga with Jen, she has kept me sane during lockdown and energised during my pregnancy (even through horrible bouts of morning sickness!). Jen is such a positive person to connect with every week and I couldn't recommend her classes enough! Thank you so much Jen!
