Wonderful job, better than what we expected. They did all the bedroom, with plenty of storage spaces, and many other jobs in our boat. Good energy, nice guys.

The entire experience of working with Boathouse Carpentry was an absolute joy. I had a new wooden floor installed on my narrowboat, as well as a custom home office unit, fold away dining table, bedroom drawers and two kitchen units, all designed and built from scratch. The quality of the work is impeccable, and the experience of the process very professional, stress free and highly enjoyable. Paul came out multiple times to visit the boat to discuss ideas and options and no request or change was ever too much, and always met with a positive 'can-do' attitude and a common sense approach. Their handiwork has transformed my living space and elevated the whole feel of the boat beyond my expectations. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. From the moment Dario came to see me to give an initial quote for the bookcase, desk and stairs with drawers that they built, their professionalism, 'can do' attitude and always going above and beyond were exemplary. They were really helpful in making suggestions about what might work best whilst listening and adapting the basic ideas I had, were incredibly patient with my lack of technical knowledge and tweaks to design and all with good humour. Throughout the whole process of both jobs they did for me (I was so impressed I asked them to do more work very quickly after) they offered excellent advice on things that had nothing to do with the work they were doing and stepped into the breach when other trades let me down. I was quite nervous about getting work done as it was quite a new thing for me and an investment in my new home, as it turns out I need not have been, and the results have really enhanced the boat into the space that I envisaged. Thank you to all at Boathouse Carpentry and especially Dario for making the whole process as stress free and enjoyable as possible!
