They also had a yoga instructor come in during one of our visits, to take a chair yoga class with some of the residents which they seemed to enjoy, although my dad was unable to take part due to his dementia.
They have the day's menu on a board for everyone to see and an activity programme for each day of the week so the residents don't get bored.
Dad's room was comfy and clean. The staff were very kind and caring towards my dad and always offered visitors a cuppa and a biscuit as soon as they arrived which made us feel welcome.
They have a sign on their wall stating "Our residents don't live where we work, we work in their home" or words to that affect... which I think is a lovely way to look at it!
