I visited the care home to see whether it was suitable for my dad with young onset dementia. I was so shocked at the facilities and lack of care provided. The small amount of carers there seemed lovely people but not qualified to look after elderly people with dementia or other health complications. The owners of the home have put as many bedrooms as possible in the home with no consideration of space or how someone with a disability can navigate the home- no walk in showers, railings around the corridor etc. I am extremely sad about how these poor patients were living, the whole business seemed very exploitative. I would avoid if possible.
