Just got home from our 4-night stay - we miss it already! Staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming. Having done some boating in the past we opted for a quick departure. The boat was really well equipped and even stocked Ecover cleaning products. The boat can get a bit cold at night, but the central heating and hot water system worked really well (we had the Farnborough). Heading South the canal is beautiful, pubs in Thrupp are great and nice to be able to get to Oxford in a couple of days. Only issue is the canal follows the Trainline so it can be a bit noisy at night. We'd love to come back and do a trip going North next time!

Just returned back to dry land after a midweek trip on the Oxford canal. Hire boat was clean and tidy and the staff at the heyford base were helpful and knowledgeable about the boat and the canal. An enjoyable first trip for most people. Will definitely use again.
