    It's never pleasant to write a bad review for a place where I have been going for a long time, but in all due honesty, I can't say that things are as they used to be. I have been taking both my cars, one of which is now 33 years old, to this garage since 2016 and service has always been good. They always managed to provide good maintenance, even solving special problems like finding a replacement for a door damaged by rust. Not cheap but reliable, and at the end, you pay for a specialist. In the last years, however, anything that goes beyond the normal service seems to be too much of a hassle to be even considered, and mistakes have been made. Last year they were claiming that air conditioning was not working any more, and charged me for a (useless) gas refilling, while they simply didn't set it correctly to force it to start, ignoring me when I was saying that it was working while I was driving there. This year I took the car for a full inspection ahead of a long trip, and everything resulted ok, and the day after the throttle cable snapped off the engine due to a worn out clip. Called them asking if they could find a spare part, still waiting for the call back -that will never come. I ended up finding the part myself and repair it. Same as for a mirror that needs to be replaced, asked twice to look at it, claimed that they can't do it because the part is discontinued, while there are compatible parts with 24h delivery. What made things also a bit unpleasant is that I have never even received a "I'm sorry", even when calling from the side of the road with the engine half apart trying to repair the throttle cable the day after a check that was supposed to ensure that the car was ok, and receiving that feeling that I'm just another annoying customer when asking if they can find the spare parts. I don't know what triggered this sort of "I can't be bothered" attitude that for sure was not present until a few years ago, but while I understand that finding parts for old cars can be an issue, it's not the kind of service I would expect from a "specialist". So, today, I'm sorry to say that for a standard service on a fairly new car can be fine, but for anything else that requires a specialist, reliable work, I would look somewhere else.     Absolutely delighted with the service and commitment of these Guys. They carried out a difficult task on my Audi and it was in and out the same day as promised and is now driving superbly.     Poor experience and parts used are not proper or genuine and failed after 5 months. Does not understand or let customer speak to engineers and front office doesnt know much either. Avoid.
