Hortons Group Log Cabins

Just had the brilliant Frank and Anthony repair our log cabin today, superb job, well thought out and with absolutely minimal disruption. This was a really specialised piece of work that was imaginatively and professionally handled and executed. Would highly recommend as repairers of log cabins!

Be warned, read the small print because this is a business that relies on that in the event of any problems. Free delivery means being able to receive the cabin on their terms. That means on the back of a huge artic lorry that is unsuitable to most side roads and lanes, and at a time and date when they decide to deliver everyone elses. When this is confirmed after you have paid your deposit, you will be told to a) pick it up from the yard or b) make arrangements to offload several tonnes of wood on the side of the roadside, and you should have read the small print. We agreed the latter because we live 150 miles away. It took 4 men two hours to unload! All because sending it direct to the customer is inconvenient. Kit is fine but nothing spectacular. Support will be indifferent and like a record, did you read the terms and conditions. Youve been warned!!

Extremely pleased with the finished cabin which was delivered with the minimum of fuss and erected efficiently, competently and very professionally by two hugely experienced tradesmen.
