The Pastures

We stayed at the Sheperds Lodge unit. A few 'bits' to comment on to the agent, most likely due to it being the first rental of the year? Other than that, it was spacious, well-appointed, and really warm despite it being -2C outside. All mod cons you'd need, kitchen & utensils good, sofa comfy and you can easily lie down on. Bed good enough to have a good night's sleep on. The bathroom had a dual head shower, which didn't disappoint as some can, plus a double-ended bath. Useful hallway for coats & shoes. Really good double jacuzzi, which we used daily, even when it was freezing outside. As long as the 'snagging' is carried out, this is a really great place to holiday. Recommended

Stayed here for a Xmas break. Absolutely loved it. Very clean and excellent standard in the lodge.

Lovely quiet relaxing long weekender spent in the hot tub after long day's of the lakeland adventures beautiful log cabin .. fantastic place to stay for Cartmel Horse Races

Nice clean place with good amenities. Good location, 5-10 min to Grange Over Sands. Highly recommend buying Cartmel Sticky toffee pudding which is made and sold nearby.
