Visited with my girlfriend during the Easter holidays. The lodge was very nice, decor isn't very modern but we weren't fussed by this as we wanted the holiday experience. The hot tub was lovely, bed wasn't too bad either. The only downfalls is that the WiFi only worked for one device, two at best. Whilst I understand that it's not important to be on the internet all day when away, it would still be benefical to have upgraded WiFi (i.e a WiFi 5 or 6 meshing system) so our laptops and phones can still connect normally. It was a struggle on a rainy day as we couldn't stream unless we shared the same device. The last day was a little rude surprise as one of the rangers was already cleaning up and tidying about 30-40 minutes before we were checking out, and it was about an hour before we were due to! Rating 4* for the WiFi and random surprise visitor. Rooms: The decor wasn't to our taste but we didn't mind as it was a nice warm quiant environment. Bed wasn't luxurious for the price but we didn't struggle with sleeping.
