    Very slow to get report. Does not answer phone calls or texts. When he finally answered the phone said it would be with me at the end of the week but it didnt turn up for two more weeks. Unprofessional.

    I really wish that I had read the reviews before booking Ian to carry out a survey on my property because I have had the same experience as most other reviewers. Ian and Sam were booked to do a survey on 09/07/21. I had to sign a contract and pay in full prior to the appointment being booked. They arrived on time, were pleasant, and appeared to be trustworthy. Four weeks after completing the survey I had heard nothing from them, I tried phoning but there was no answer, no one replied to the message that I left. I decided to email every day and, after several emails, got a response from Sam. Eventually Sam got sick of me and advised that I contact Ian directly. Great in theory however, either Ian is technologically illiterate, or he studiously avoids his emails. At 8 weeks I have asked for a full refund since they have not provided the service that I have paid 749 for. Still no response from Ian. I have not been able to progress further with the work I wanted to given that I havent had a survey report. I have wasted a significant amount of time emailing and worrying about this. I now have to waste more time reporting them to the Ombudsman and the institute of chartered surveyors, and trying to get my money back through the small claim courts. The work I wanted to get done before winter will now need to be put back until next year while all this is sorted out and I can get another survey. How this company is still in business is beyond me. I dont understand how anyone can run a company in this way, treating clients with such blatant disrespect. If he couldnt do the work in a timely fashion why accept the job?
