Green's Steakhouse & Grill

The service was good despite some of the negative reviews. We did go on a Sunday evening when it was fairly quiet so cant comment on how it holds up during busier periods. My wife had the king prawn main which she said was ok but nothing special. I had the t bone steak which was one of the recommended dishes. I can only imagine how bad a normal steak dish would have been because this steak was thin and chewy either side of the bone and I told the waiter as much as he looked confused that Id left over half of it. I said to be clear it was nothing to do with the chef who had done their best with it but it was just a poor chunk of beef and they should consider changing butcher given theres loads of better steakhouses in the area, queens rooms in Buckhurst Hill being among the best. Honestly if Id bought this steak from Aldi for 6 id have been disappointed with it and it cost considerably more than that. So happy to have tried a new restaurant in the area but well not be visiting again.

We turned up for a planned birthday lunch, to be told our table had been cancelled, which we never realised, the 2 ladies at the door did not even apologise. Looks like they got a big table booking, that suited them better. They never even called to inform us. Wont be going back again, if thats how they treat their customers. Was hoping it was 3rd time lucky but, obviously not. We got to try the new fish resturant Battered, which was lovely.
