Glen is outstanding. Got me in knowing it sounded like an emergency, found the issue and referred me to the hospital with a letter in hand. This was many years ago but I still appreciate his promptness, professionalism and empathy. I would recommend Glen to anyone now choosing their 'eye expert' and appreciates their eye health.

I have been with mr scher since I was 3! So 28 years. Such a lovely professional place. I left the area and still travelled back to mr scher. Honestly wouldnt go anywhere else. All my love Hayley

Late on Friday night, my wife could not get a contact lense out of one of her eyes, it was becoming painful and her eye was very sore. We are 15 minutes from the Loughton branch, but unfortunately Glen Ward was working at the Southend shop. After a very long day on Saturday, well after the shops had shut, Glen drove home via the Loughton shop, after 6pm and dealt with the problem, quickly and efficiently. I honestly cannot think of many, if any, business owners who care about their patients/customers the way that Glen does. He went over and above what most people would do and my wife is so grateful. Thank you Glen....
