Wonderful spot near Epping Forest. We visited on a bank holiday weekend and were lucky enough to find a table outside with no booking. Admittedly the pub was very busy and the staff a little overwhelmed, but food arrived relatively promptly and service was friendly. The food exceeded expectations (fabulous chips and beautiful presentation!) and the pub is very dog-friendly - would definitely recommend and return!

Great pub, set on the edge of Epping Forest. Great food and service - we had a lunch booking. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is dog friendly and has a large beer garden area. Would highly recommend based on our first visit.
