Absolutely fantastic gym. For newcomers its unreal as so welcoming. Boxing is taken seriously and a very high standard of coaching and training however people new and just wanting to get fit its perfect for. Mark, Simeon and Liam all top guys, perfect for men and women. Its a real community.

Joined Dennis & Dyer at the beginning of Jan and loving it! All the staff are super welcoming and friendly and I felt comfortable and at ease right from my first class! The classes are tough, they push you to get the best out you, thats what its about! Ive already felt a massive difference in myself in a few short weeks. Cant recommend it highly enough, get yourself down there asap! Keep up the good work guys

Had a great first session at the club. Straight away greeted by the team who were very welcoming! The gym is super clean and with new equipment. Marc was brilliant we got into the session with a mixture of shadow boxing, pad work and on the bags. He made me work hard but was such a laugh too! Couldnt recommend the club enough, first impressions were excellent! A real family feel about it!

As a Find Your Active Community Connector for West Essex, promoting Active Essex campaign Find Your Active, I first was contacted by Marc in Dec 22, and I shortly after visited the Dennis & Dyer Boxing Academy whereby I experienced a coaching session by the Simeon, who I taught with great patience and expertise. I noticed quickly the variety of people attending, children, women, men all ages and how friendly and welcoming people where made to feel. On further discussions it was evident that Marc, Simeon, Liam Tara and the rest of the team wanted to help the community to help people reach their goals, for the purpose of fitness or to box in a competition. Marc was able to tap into some funding which allowed him to make the boxing training more accessible to 50 school children who are on low income. I was also able to recommend the academy to one of the people I work with and he now attends regularly. Marc continues to invest in children, giving talks in schools, recently collaborating with 'The Inclusion Project covering Epping, Harlow and Uttlesford in delivering sessions for children with learning disabilities and/or autism as well as children with physical and/or sensory impairments aged 8-14. I have witnessed first hand the excellent boxing academy which Marc and his team work tirelessly to make all the session inclusive for all ages and abilities. Then recently being invited to the Quest boxing match not only could I see the quality of boxing each participant delivered to their opponent but also that Marc and his team lead by example by being great role models to the young people. Marc is a true champion winning his boxing match with great technique and humility. I will continue to recommend the whole team at Dennis and Dyer Boxing Academy because they are truly making a difference for all people in the community.
