        So many problems with Woodford - they charge an hours labour for travel time - they make you pay up front for an estimated time taken to repair. No refunds offered if takes less time. - not transparent - rude staff on the phone - dont carry basic parts in their vehicles so charge another call out fee with over estimated labour times & travel costs

        Booked Woodford for annual servicing. They came 1 day early, by mistake, without notice. Told the engineer we had an issue with pressure slowly dropping, he looked at it and found an "issue" with a valve and said because if this we're not getting hot water (though we did). Sent a quote for 700 to replace but couldn't explain why we had hot water regardless. Issue with pressure not fixed. We ignored woodford and got a different plumber who immediately spotted the issue. Fixed it for 150 - now working perfectly with pressure stable. Woodford or either incompetent, scammers or both.
