The 4yrs I have been working for Vertex have been excellent, especially in comparison to previous maintenance companies I have worked for. They have provided me with full training and guidance in my job role, provided room for promotion and growth and also have a genuine work/life balance that I haven't experienced with other businesses. The Vertex ethos is very family based, we operate as a team and as individuals who have a genuine care for each other, which is why we are able to provide the high level of service that we do to our clients. The management here is continuously supportive and forward thinking, it is a main component as to why we are able to excel in our field.

I have been a Vertex employee for almost 3 years. Having initially joined the company through the TUPE process, I was a little apprehensive about what to expect especially due to the fact I had worked for larger M&E companies in the past. However, all of my worries were squashed very quickly due to the approachable and warm nature of other Vertex employees I engaged with during my first few weeks with the company. As time has progressed, I have felt a real "family" and "close-knit" ethos from the company and fellow employees as it feels as though you are valued, appreciated and actually treated as a person rather than just a number like many of the larger M&E companies I've worked for previously. This approach/ethos of being valued and appreciated has really shown for me as Vertex have rewarded me with various training courses to aid my personal development and promotion from administrator to manager. I would highly recommend Vertex as a company to work for if you are within the M&E industry.
