Claire Williamson Stained Glass

Claire was absolutely brilliant helping us create a community artwork to celebrate the church's 800th anniversary. She worked with around 800 members of the community including five local schools to produce something truly special that captures the best of who we are. It was great to work with you!

I've just completed restoring 3 stained glass door panels under Claire's excellent tuition and supervision in her workshop She tailored the guidance and helped me develop a variety of skills. I'm delighted with my panels and had a thoroughly enjoyable time in her company

I am really pleased with Claire's work. She designed and made a superb front door panel for our 1930's house re-using stained glass pieces previously removed from small opening lights. The design tied in beautifully with the remaining side door panels. She was professional and delivered the panel really quickly.

We bought the two day workshop for my daughter's birthday. She absolutly loved it! Claire was lovely and guided her to produce a beautiful leaded window.

We have been working with Claire for over 2 years now. She has designed and created a stained glass window which now sits proudly in Scampton Church. This stunning piece of contemporary stained glass art work commemorates 100 years relationship between RAF Scampton and Scampton Church. It has gained international acclaim. Claire has also worked in both of our local schools helping to teach 200 children the meaning of remembrance. Following a talk by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Claire helped the children create a beautiful glass tile each. These tiles were joined together into 6 wonderful collages which will take pride of place when all 200 children will take part in a remembrance service in 617 (Dambusters) hanger at RAF Scampton.(photos Claire Hartley)
