A warning to potential customers. I have a small Powder Coat job on bright steel that I need doing and as I wanted to support a local company I approaceg Charnwood Paint Specialists. It took three emails before my enquiry was answered and even then only the barest of details were given for just the powder coat (no details of the undercoat or how thick the Powder Coat would be). Steel NEEDS careful prep, shot blasting AND degreasing together with a bonding undercoat else the Powder Coat will not bond to the steel which could allow rust to form under it. I emailed a further two times asking for proper details and a quote for ALL of the work so I do not get lumbered with a much higher bill than I was quoted and they have ignored them. On this basis I can not recomend Charnwood and I would say avoid as a reputable cvompany would be upfront about all costs and would wish to make sure the customer was happy.

Powder coated (colour changed) wheels on my husbands Citroen. He was very pleased with all aspects of the service, he will definitely use again and recommend to others. He says it's the place to go so give them a try!
