Ian Bursill - Weddings Captured Emotively

We've been at 2 weddings with Ian taking photos. We were part of the wedding party of a friends wedding where Ian was there. From the first parts of the day Ian was present but not obtrusive. He helped with advice on pocket squares for example and contributed to the day. His photos were also fabulous and emotive. This really impressed us and we approached Ian to photograph our own wedding By the time our wedding had come around, Ian and Caroline were working together. Our experience on the day plus the photos after the event were excellent. On the day, Ian and Caroline captured the moments fabulously being present but not intrusive. They managed to take some fabulous photos of us despite our unease at being photographed. They engaged with our nephews, letting them take pictures and capturing a few lovely moments. Afterwards, It was a little wait to receive them but we were able to check online for updates. The photos are absolutely stunning. They capture so many unseen moments from the day, both from very personal moments to large scale time having fun. Ian compiled them into a video montage with music that we watch regularly. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them if you want emotively captured and personal wedding photographs

I would give Ian & Caroline 100 stars if I could. I can't speak highly enough of them as people and their work and I would recommend them without hesitation to any couple looking for their wedding photographers. From initial consultation to final delivery of albums, their professionalism was outstanding. On the day - they were lovely to be with and discreet at all times through our ceremony. When we first saw our photos, we could not believe it! Ian is a miracle worker making me look that good haha !!! But Seriously, the whole sequence of photos telling the story of our day was beyond anything we hoped for. Memories for a life time, which Ian captured to perfection.

We were so delighted to have Ian and Caroline document our wedding day for us. They made all the preparations a joy (whilst being completely flexible as everything was thrown up in the air by the pandemic!), and - on the day - they were professional, supportive and discreet. Most importantly, the photos are absolutely fantastic, with the documentary style providing the most natural chronology of the day. We have returned to them on so many occasions since, and love them even more with every viewing. We would highly, highly recommend them!

An outstanding service from start to finish and the photos are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Ian guided us through many date changes in the covid times with so much flexibility, on the day he was discreet but social. The photos - UNreal which coming from a family of photographers says a lot! Our photos even won awards which is no surprise. Ian caught the most tender moments, the most influential photos for our memories and parts that we had forgotten about. He managed to catch the look of happiness on my doggos face and the look of embarrassment on my grooms during speeches - I cant recommend Ian enough. You will be lucky to have him capture your day.

Both Ian and Caroline are incredible. They are amazing at what they do, so kind and caring and made the wedding process so much fun. The pictures are beautiful and capture our day perfectly. The wedding album is also proudly on display at our house, it is so well made. We are so thankful to them. Highly recommend.
