GB Liners Removals & Storage - Loughborough

We chose GB Liners for a move from Switzerland to the UK after getting quotes from four moving companies; GB Liners were the joint cheapest. They were also the only one to actually visit us at home to assess our needs; the others relied on a video call, or on a forbidding questionnaire. They also visited us again to deliver a large number of moving boxes, which allowed us to get answers to some open questions. GB Liners also offered the shortest time from collection (Thursday) to delivery (Monday); it turned out we had a truck to ourselves. At no extra cost they delivered one of our sideboards to my daughter, who lives in a different town. On the day the guys were not only friendly, cheerful, helpful, efficient, and conscientious (Wes and Kevin, take a bow!), but also often went above and beyond the contract to help, in the spirit of "no worries!". Fragile stuff was well looked after and there was only one minor breakage, which was covered by the insurance. We were happy to confirm to them that everything was fine before they left, and would without hesitation recommend GB Liners to anyone looking for a cross-border move.

We used GB liners for our move as we had used them before many years ago the crew were very helpful ,however after unpacking our last few boxes we noticed the legs missing from the TV ,as we moved in on the 23rd December contacting GB liners was not possible over Christmas , only to be told when I did contact them that the 7 days had expired to make a claim ? As they packed and dismantled the tv I was very disappointed that the legs went missing and they didnt want to know after the event . We moved out of our old house on the 17th November and all items went into storage until 23rd December . Total cost was 2239.97 we move about a mile . Also during the move one of my large ornaments got broken but as I had packed this myself I didnt feel the need to claim. It will cost me 45.97 x2 for my replacement tv legs as its a curved tv . So all in all a little disappointed
