Compared to Kegworth Surgery with regards to bookings etc, this practice is amazing. Great service all round.

Seem pretty incompetent around trans health care and even when you tell them everything they need to know they still refuse to do anything. So either they're just useless or they don't care. Or both.

They have been great from day one of joining. Which was a year ago in lockdown. My husband is diabetic and they have been great with his appointments and tests and medication. They have sorted all his follow up appointments with the doctor and nurse. Fantatic help all around.

You can only book appointments for the day and you have to call early or you don't get an appointment. I am in meetings with my job at that time so it's impossible to call when they tell you. Finally got an appointment after weeks of trying. It's not an actual timed appointment, you just have to sit and keep tabs on your phone all day so you don't miss it. Missed the first call and called surgery straight away to say I thought I'd missed a call, told I hadn't as nothing on my file. Told not to worry as I'll get a second call even if it was. Had an incredibly unproductive work day as constantly checking phone. Stopped work at 5 to make sure I didnt miss the call. Sat with phone in hand ready to answer but no call came. Called surgery againat 5.56pm as was told Doctors call up to 6pm and wanted to make sure they'd roll my appointment over since I hadn't been called. Was told the call I had been told earlier in the day wasn't from the doctor in actual fact was the doctor and that they'd tried again after 5pm and my phone was unavailable. Knowing I'd been sat, phone in hand, waiting for the call, I told the receptionist this was categorically untrue. She repeatedly told me my phone was unavailable and I said it wasn't and that I needed to have my appointment rolled over. I asked them to send doctor a message to advise my phone was available and to ask them to call me again and was told all the appointments were now gone. Since none of us have timed appointments, this also is untrue as doctor just moves onto the next person, there is no lost time. Receptionist lied again, claiming it was impossible to send the doctor a message, apparently coudnt email or send an instant message. Again a lie as all the doctors have emails. I advised that I believed that the doctor, given they were apparently still working, when they were supposed to finish at 6, had marked me as unavailable so that they could reduce their call list and that this was not ok . I advised that they needed to put me on the next days list without me having to call back because it is too difficult with my work to call at that time and they said it was impossible. Post-it notes and emails also don't exist in the reception apparently. I told the receptionist that it wasn't funny and that I did not appreciate being lied to and she just kept telling me she wasnt. But Im not stupid. You might be able to fob off a 90 year old technophobe with stories of inability contact each other but I'm not one of those. I said it wasn't good enough and that I wanted to make a complaint I was told there was no management and that is have to wait for the recording of the call to be reviewed and that id hear something at their earliest convenience. I've absolutely nothing good to say about this surgery
