Since the pandemic the club has gone from strength to strength. The club is generally great for all ages, with a mix of adults and children attending. As a result it has been a great place to exercise, make new friends, build confidence, and to feel part of a community. The club focuses on Wado Ryu style of Karate which has some life lessons to teach in addition to the main focus of learning a martial art. Learning Karate is a great way to build resilience and improve over all fitness. Fun for all the family.

Our grandson attends this Karate school at Coalville Leisure Centre. He thoroughly enjoys the experience & is progressing through the gradings quickly.

Since my son started at Simon's karate school, he has not only grown in confidence but also learnt and excelled in this skill. My son is fortunate enough to have karate from Simons school provided in an after school club as well as two additional classes at the Loughborough leisure center. Our son attends this often out of choice due to his absolute love and excitement for Karate. In the year and a half our son has been with this school he has already graded four times, and has never been left unprepared for grading, with regular syllabus classes for the whole school. During these events you truly sense the family environment and despite the size of the school I can honestly say Simon, knows and understand the accomplishments and personalities of every single student. I would recommend this karate school to anyone that asked, and when the time is right I cannot wait for my daughter to start!
