Still awaiting parts missing from my car which I purchased 5 weeks ago. The sales know all about the issue and as of yet the parts haven't been sent to me. Not very good aftersales.

After my car went into limp mode I took it to my local village garage who, after carrying out an initial scan and bench test said they could not be confident in carrying out the repair as whilst the scode identified the issue with a pump, carryed out a simple bench test, the part appeared to function. They feared the fault might be in the circuitry and advised I seek further clarification with a facility with more advanced diagnostic kit. Pentagon identified the same pump as my local garage. When I asked if they can guarantee this is the issue as my local garage had Bench tested the pump and found it working, they said they could not and I would still be liable for yhe cost of the repair at 850 plus VAT. When I asked how this can be I was told "because the scan tool pointed us in that direction. I took it back to my local garage who, after further investigation, completed the repair for 155. My grandson can work a tablet and he is nearly 4yrs old. I find it unacceptable main dealers charge top dollar and take no responsibility for their lack of training, expecting the customer to pick up the tab. From now on any issues which actually requires skilled diagnostic work will go to local skilled technicians.
