        Moved to Lostwithiel a couple of months ago and I was looking for a new local. The Globe was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. Set in a beautiful building with beamed ceilings and a beer garden, the barman was very welcoming and quick service. While I was there, someone had ordered a takeaway to the beer garden (a former employee) which was apparently standard for a weekend and a lovely old dear (that looked to be in her 80s) was drinking sambuca. What's not to like? I've yet to eat in the restaurant, but the menu sounds amazing. I would recommend to anyone, you won't regret it
