Just spent new year in this lovely comfortable cottage. The property was first class proper cottage which wrapped itself around you making you feel totally relaxed and comfortable. Me and my 2 daughters with their partners stayed the week. No rain at all and the middle of lovely walks. Dogs loved it and were safe in a nice fenced off garden. Friendly collie who loves you to throw sticks for him belonging to owners. We would all come back anytime to this lovely place. Reviewer Jan Tripp from Hull

Absolutely perfect, well equipped and maintained cottage. Located in the NorthWest area of the Lake District, it is a quiet area that nether the less has some beautiful scenery and walks nearby (Whinlatter Forest and Buttermere, for example) The cottage itself sleeps 6, although the smallest of the three bedrooms is probably better suited for children. Dogs are welcome and our dog most certainly seemed to enjoy himself there. The cottage is on a working farm (we were lucky enough to meet a 10 minute old calf) and has fishing rights at an onsite fishing lake. To sum up - we're going to book this cottage again, so that's the best endorsement I can give!
