used to be great and never had a prob but recently got new people on front desk and wow the rudeness is from another world . Terrible manners .Shame as I love the doctors and nurse's.

Lines open at 8am by 8.20am was told by the receptionist that all face to face appointments with doctors are filled. This has been going on for more than a week, how this practice are getting away with this dire service is beyond me. Would not recommend this practice to a stray dog.

If you ever want to develop an evidence-based argument as to why you should be able to opt of out paying towards the NHS, I highly recommend joining this practice. From receptionists refusing timely appointments because they have never heard of an illness, to GPs refusing to discuss particular health matters with you as they are not your named GP, to your named GP being unavailable as they are "away for months", to ignoring requests for a GP who does actually work at the surgery, to decisions being made about your care without your knowledge, to your medical records not being updated with accurate details, to ignoring FOIs/SARs, to some of the rudest receptionists I have ever met, even by low NHS standards. Allerton Road really do an absolutely outstanding job of providing real evidenced-based examples of why the NHS should be scrapped, or, at best, evidence for why patients should not be forced to pay for care they are unable to get.

I'm surprised by the negative reviews as I've only had good experiences here. The admin staff and nurses have been friendly and well organised but most importantly the doctors have been excellent.
