Jonathan Delbridge Music

Jonathan is talented pianist and hugely gifted teacher. My son has been learning with him for the past two and a half years, and in that time his confidence and ability have both soared. Not only has my son made brilliant progress with examinations (he is about to take his third examination in 2.5 years), but he has also performed at several of the pupil concerts that Jonathan arranges throughout the year. That such a shy child has found the courage to do this is thanks to Jonathan's patient and supportive teaching style, and dedication to the nurture of his pupils. If you're looking for a piano teacher, look no further!

I have regularly attended Jonathans organ and piano recitals for many years (except 2020!) and have always thoroughly enjoyed them. He is an outstanding performer in both instruments. I particularly like his sensitive piano playing its sheer pleasure to listen to him. His choice of music is varied, fun and accessible, from baroque through to contemporary jazz, hence he has such a huge following! He has a relaxed manner introducing music and connecting well with audiences. I can thoroughly recommend Jonathan and cant wait until we can hear him playing live again.

I have known Jonathan for about 10 years. He strives for excellence in all he does. His musicality extends far beyond his excellent mastery of the piano and organ. He is great at motivating people and has directed many choirs. My gospel choir and I have had the privilege of performing in concerts with Jonathan at Truro cathedral on several occasions. I would highly recommend and commend him to anyone.

As a parent of one of Jonathans pupils, I have been delighted to see my daughters progress and love of music grow. Jonathan is an inspiring teacher with a relaxed style who draws the best from his pupils, allowing them to set their own pace and aspirations. Jonathan lives and breathes music, being an outstanding solo performer, as well as running a Choir. His success in engaging people of all abilities in music shines through. I would thoroughly recommend.
