We came to Little Trewern on a walking holiday along Offa's Dyke. What a wonderful spot! Our room had amazing views of the Black Mountains, and very tired and weary,- we slept like logs! The bedroom was really large and comfortable, furnished with a carved French bed and lovely furniture, and the bathroom was luxury itself. But the highlight for us was the marvelous food that Rhianna cooked for us. In the evening we had an Italian chicken dish which was wonderfully tasty, and an unforgetable panna cotta with a rose-hip syrup that she had made from rose-hips gathered from the hedgerows! And the breakfast that she cooked set us up for the whole of the next day. Apparently they have only just opened as a B&B, and our only regret was that we only stayed one night!
