My client used Steve through J E Holden builders. What a nightmare from start to finish. The quote was 3 times the PC sum and worked out at over 75 an hour with Steve ! its the way he does his quotes for a job, when you work it back its ends up at a very high rate per hour. Steve failed to follow the plans for the home and did his own thing creating more work and more expense with Holdens charging as he went along. A real shoddy job. Cold spots on under floor heating, wires covered up with pipe insulation as they hadnt been ran properly and fixed. Steve forgot some wires (not following the plan) and so channelled diagonally across the wall. Left old exposed wires still hanging off the walls in the garage although they were dead, just were was the professionalism, second hand extractor cover used, mains cable too close to data cable and now causes interference (old school) should be 50 mm separation (told in advance but ignored), extractor isolated by a light switch ! Pretty sure some of these fast short cuts are not covered by the regs wouldnt recommend Steve or his buddy Chris Holden see pictures, it didnt help that Ben Cunliffe architects accepted this level of quality and just made excuses to the client allowing Holdens to continue with the their electrician Steve and other contactors. Think the whole thing will end up in court as this was just part of a bigger picture on short cuts, negligence and issues with health and safety. Associated governing bodies need to know too about the level of all the work carried out. Absolute awful experience Service: Installation
