We arrived along a beautifully bordered track and through immaculate gardens to an enchanting period farmhouse where we were warmly welcomed by the owner.
The interiors were furnished in excellent taste with period furniture
with comfortable armchairs for perfect relaxing .
The bedrooms were spacious and obviously perfectly clean.The bathrooms also perfect.
Having said all that,the star off the occasion was Elsie who exuded kindness and welcome salted with a sprinkling of Lancashire wit.
Altogether, it was all perfect and worth more than the allowance of five stars
