Ricky had painted a portrait of my nieces dog a few years ago and I still remember how the entire family loved it as soon as they saw it. Id been impressed at the level of detail in his painting at the time so, when we decided to get one done of our growing pup, I went straight to Ricky. Ricky is easy to get along with, hes willing to answer your questions, shows you lots of photos of previous work so you get a good feel of how you want your painting to be, and patiently sits with you and your dog to get the perfect photos needed for him to go away and produce his painting. We chose the photos we felt summed up our dog and then waited.... He updated us when needed and sent a photo of the painting to make sure we were happy with it before varnishing and framing it. Even at this point it looked amazing. Delivery day will not disappoint you. Ricky seems to get better and better at his work and we all love the painting hes done. Ive attached a close up of our dogs eyes so you get an idea of the level of detail you can expect. The eyes are so expressive that they follow you around wherever you are in the room which was something I wasnt expecting. My friends think its a large canvas print so I smile when I tell them its a painting. Im a firm believer in supporting smaller businesses and Ricky hasnt disappointed. Portrait of our yorkie for a birthday present, what a super job Ricky did. Could not be happier with the service and the end result. No hesitation in recommending Ricky if youre looking for a portrait of your pet.

I chose to have a portrait of our pup done as a surprise Christmas present, the results were amazing! Ricky came and got to know our dog to get the best images, making the whole process very personal. Great work and amazing quality. Would definitely have another one done!
