Lezzet Charcoal Grill - Sidcup

It's hard to rate because there are pluses and minuses on the scales. Yes, the food is high quality and tasty, chicken shish is exceptionally juicy and fresh, melting in the mouth. But. I see that lately prices have been rising everywhere from grocery stores to Lezzet. Even if I love the food there, I'll not be ordering it everyday. However, still want to mention that the food is delicious but they need to work on their portions sizes though.

Ok so they do tasty kebabs. But their service levels and prices are going downhill. Firstly, value for money: In March 2022 a large meat and chips was 13.50. Even at that level it was ridiculously expensive. Today (May) it is 16.50. That is a 22% increase in just 2 months. Annualized that is a totally ridiculous price rise. Especially when CPI on an annualized basis is currently not yet into double figures! Secondly, service issues: 3 times now I have ordered (via Deliveroo) 2 extra sauces and they haven't been delivered. At 1.20 per pot this starts to add up. And notably, the sizes of the sauces pots has reduced significantly over time. Coincidentally the salad has been getting smaller and smaller (and a couple of time the yellow chilis were missing). Long story short - back in the day I was actually blown away by how tasty their kebabs were. Fair enough inflation is an issue right now, but I'm feel like these prices are just completely untenable - and actually are a bit of liberty. Restaurant prices for takeaway kebab. Tonight was my last one.

Went here yesterday ordered Lezzet special and drinks. The guy said would be 15 mins. He took less than that and even considering they were quite busy. Excellent service.

Superb,that was 4 years ago, but since it has changed hands it has really gone down the pan, prices have gone through the roof whilst portion sizes have shrunk, personally not worth the money, if you can find some where else try it, lezzets is not value for money any more.

I am new to the city and this was my first meal from Lezzet. I was very impressed that all the boxes and wrappings except for the salad and sauce pots were recyclable. A big thumbs up for that. The food was lovely, and plenty of it. Loved the chicken shish.. Will certainly visit you again.
