One star is too generous. I sat at home this morning waiting for Stuart to arrive so he could start working on my front and rear garden over the coming days. Stuart had visited my house last week, he was happy to cut the grass, clear the weeds, jet wash the patio and wood chip a few areas around the boarder of my garden . He it would take a few days maximum and said he would be at my house 8.00 am sharp on Wednesday 27th march. I took the morning off work to welcome Stuart to my house. 8.10 am no sign of GMS, so i thought i would call. Stuart had decided block my number. I text him and sent messages via whats-app, he didn't have the decency to reply. I called him from other phones and his phone rang, with no answer, when i called him from my number it immediately cut me off. I wasted a half day holiday waiting for this joker. If Stuart didn't want to cut my grass and get rid of my weeds why not just be honest and say so? I am a good honest family man, why not be honest with me? Why should anyone want to do business with people who are so dishonest and don't have the integrity just to make a call or send a text to so people are not wasting their time. GMS .... Terrible Experience, would not recommend. Booked a gardening job with this company, they requested pictures of the garden before accepting the job, we explained we had a number of animals here, the job was just the removal green waste from my garden, should be easy enough for a gardener. Upon arrival to the premises today, we met the gardener (Stuart) with a second gardener. He seemed friendly at first, they were shown around the garden and were told the only access available to the garden would be through the house. Stuart left the house through the front door, leaving it open. I assumed he was going to his van to retrieve his equipment. After about 5-10 minutes, I go and check on him to see if he needs any assistance, to my astonishment Stuart has driven off! Leaving my front door open (despite the numerous animals) and without saying why he has left! I check my e-mails and notice a very short e-mail explaining that his boss did not want him working in these conditions. No Further Explanation, not even to explain which 'conditions' were so unsatisfactory. The company was pre-warned by us that we have animals (a small dog and some kittens) and saw pictures of our garden. The building was professionally cleaned the day before, I have no idea what was meant. I understand companies have to cancel jobs for a number of reasons, It is generally polite practice to explain to your client why you are cancelling the job, before driving off and leaving their front door wide open! I would give this company 0/5 stars if I was able.
